GDP measures the value of goods and services produced in the country. GDP per person divides that total by the population; it does not describe what each person earns.

PPS adjusts for price differences between countries. It is a comparison unit, not euros you can spend.

Value added removes the cost of goods and services used in production. GDP equals total value added plus taxes on products, minus subsidies on products.
